Designed in Australia and crafted in Japan, Svelte is made to feel like a more natural part of daily life, not a constant reminder of continence needs.
We believe continence underwear should support life quietly and with dignity. It should feel soft against the body, move comfortably through everyday routines and provide practical support without feeling unnecessarily bulky or clinical. That belief sits at the heart of everything we create.
Our Mission
Our mission is to make everyday continence support feel more considered. Svelte is breathable pull-up continence underwear designed for comfort, discretion and natural movement through the day. It may also support light overnight use when changed as required, depending on individual output, fit, comfort and changing routine.
Why I Created Svelte
Svelte began with a simple question: why did so many absorbent and continence products have to feel bulky, hot and clinical?
The personal starting point came after childbirth. During recovery the absorbent products I was given felt uncomfortable and overly clinical at a time when comfort and dignity mattered. That experience stayed with me and later led me to look for something better.
What began as a personal search soon opened the door to a much wider category. I started trying absorbent underwear available in Australia and became increasingly curious about why the everyday wearing experience seemed less prioritised. The starting point was personal but the problem was much broader. Adults of different ages and life stages were looking for dependable support without unnecessary heat, bulk or restriction.
To understand the category properly we purchased and reviewed a wide range of products available through Australian supermarkets, pharmacies and online retailers. I personally wore many of them to understand how they felt against the body, how they moved and how much heat or bulk they created during everyday wear.
I also visited factories overseas and reviewed products from international markets so we could understand the category through real wear, product handling and construction, not specifications alone.
Japan stood out for its precision, material quality and attention to construction detail. It reflected the standard and product experience I wanted Svelte to offer. It was where I knew Svelte needed to be made.
We also shared early samples with continence nurses, clinicians and allied health professionals and invited feedback on comfort, fit and everyday wearability as part of the product review process.
The result is a product I believe in: a lighter, softer and more breathable option with a more discreet feel under clothing. Svelte is unisex pull-up continence underwear for adults who want something more considered as part of their daily routine
