Frequently asked questions
How do I know which size is right for me?
We've created a comprehensive fitting guide to help you choose the perfect size. Generally, we recommend pull-ups for mobile users (feels like underwear) and tab style for those needing assistance or extended wear. Visit our fitting guide for detailed measurements and recommendations.
Can I wear Svelte overnight?
Svelte supports light overnight needs, depending on your individual output and preferred changing routine. The continuous breathable outer layer, fast-absorbing core and adaptive waistband are designed to help it remain comfortable and secure for overnight wear in lighter cases. However, if you regularly need maximum-capacity protection for heavy overnight output, a higher-capacity product specifically designed for overnight use may be more suitable.
What does "fully breathable to the waist" means?
Svelte is designed to be breathable across the entire garment, including the waist, helping reduce heat and moisture build-up during wear. It's made from a single continuous breathable material that wraps from front to back and through to the waist — unlike many products that ventilate only through the side panels — for airflow to move more freely across the garment and a cooler, more comfortable feel.
Why does Svelte list a real-world working capacity of 500 mL?
Absorbency numbers are not always measured or presented in the same way. Many continence products display maximum laboratory-tested absorbency figures, which show the upper amount a product may hold in a test setting.
Svelte lists a conservative real-world working capacity of 500 mL to give a more practical guide to everyday wear. Rather than chasing the highest laboratory number, it is designed as an intentional balance between dependable absorbency, breathable comfort, discretion and natural movement.
Its core is designed to draw liquid in quickly and disperse it through the length of the core, helping reduce moisture returning to the surface after movement or pressure. This supports a drier, more comfortable feel during wear.
Is Svelte suitable for heavy incontinence?
Svelte offers heavy absorbency for dependable everyday continence support in a lighter, more breathable underwear-style form.
It has a conservative real-world working capacity of 500 mL and is designed to support repeated leaks and bladder releases during daily wear and light overnight needs, depending on individual output and changing routine.
If you require maximum-capacity protection, regularly experience frequent large bladder releases or heavy overnight output, or prefer extended overnight wear with minimal changes, a higher-capacity product may be more suitable.
Can Svelte be used for after birth?
Yes. Svelte may be used after birth as a soft, breathable pull-up option for postpartum bleeding and bladder leaks, depending on individual flow, output and changing routine.
Is Svelte suitable for NDIS purchases?
Svelte may be suitable for self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants where funded and appropriate to individual needs.
If your plan is agency-managed, contact us and we can help point you towards the most suitable next step.
If you are unsure, your plan manager, support coordinator or NDIA contact can help confirm how your plan is managed and what documentation may be required.
