Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers about fit, absorbency, materials, ordering, delivery and NDIS purchasing.

Can I wear Svelte overnight?

Svelte may support light overnight use when changed as required, depending on your individual output, fit, comfort and changing routine.

For heavier overnight output or if you need one product to last through uninterrupted sleep, a higher-capacity product designed specifically for overnight use may be more suitable.

How often should I change?

There is no single change schedule. How often you need to change will depend on your output, comfort and usual routine.

Consider changing after a larger bladder release, if the product feels damp or uncomfortable or whenever it feels right for you. Change promptly after soiling.

Why does Svelte list a real-world working capacity of 500 mL?

Absorbency figures are not always directly comparable because products may be tested and reported in different ways.

Svelte uses a conservative real-world working capacity of 500 mL to provide a practical guide to everyday wear. It is not a maximum laboratory absorbency claim.

Svelte is designed to balance practical absorbency with breathability, discretion and freedom of movement. Everyday performance will also depend on individual output, fit and changing routine.

Is more absorbency always better?

Not always. The right product depends on your routine, output, activity level and how often you prefer to change. High-capacity products can be helpful for heavier overnight needs or frequent, large bladder releases, but they can be bulkier and less breathable. Svelte is designed as a balanced option for everyday wear, combining dependable absorbency with a lighter, more breathable design so comfort, discretion and movement matter as much as absorbency.

What does “fully breathable to the waist” mean?

It means the breathable outer material continues from the absorbent area through to the waistband rather than being limited to selected panels.

This construction is designed to support airflow across more of the product during wear.

Does Svelte help with odour?

Svelte is designed to help manage odour during wear, supporting a fresher and more confident everyday experience.

What should I know if I have sensitive skin?

Svelte uses soft-touch materials and its topsheet has been dermatologically tested for skin contact. It is fragrance-free and lotion-free and contains no natural rubber latex.

Individual skin needs vary so Svelte cannot confirm suitability for sensitive skin. If you have a known skin condition or ongoing irritation, consider discussing product choice with an appropriate health professional.

What does dermatologically tested mean?

It means the topsheet material that sits against the skin has been dermatologically tested for skin contact under controlled conditions.

It does not mean the whole product is hypoallergenic or guaranteed suitable for sensitive skin.

Will it feel bulky or noticeable under clothing?

Svelte is designed with a slim, low-rustle pull-up profile for a more discreet feel under clothing.

How noticeable any absorbent product feels can vary depending on fit, body shape and clothing style.

What if I am between sizes?

If your measurement falls within both size ranges, Medium may provide a closer fit while Large may feel more relaxed around the waist and hips.

You can also use Find Your Fit for additional guidance. If this is your first Svelte order, eligible unopened packs may be exchanged or refunded within 14 days of delivery.

Can Svelte be used after birth?

Svelte may be a useful pull-up option during postpartum recovery for bladder leakage and for people seeking softer, breathable absorbent support after birth.

Postpartum needs can vary so suitability will depend on individual flow, output, fit, comfort and changing routine. For heavier bleeding or any concerns during recovery, follow the advice of your maternity care team.

Can Svelte be used for bowel leakage?

Svelte is designed primarily for urinary leakage.

It may not be the best primary option where bowel leakage is ongoing or unpredictable, where the person is mostly bed-based or where frequent fully assisted changes are required.

A product designed specifically for bowel containment may be more suitable.

How do I remove Svelte?

Pull Svelte down like ordinary underwear or tear open the side seams for easier removal.

Roll it inward and dispose of it in general waste. Do not flush.

What is Svelte?

Svelte is comfort-led, unisex pull-up continence underwear designed for everyday wear.

Designed in Australia and crafted in Japan, it combines practical absorbency with soft-touch materials, fully breathable construction through to the waist and a slim, low-rustle profile.

Svelte is made without PFAS, is fragrance-free and lotion-free and contains no natural rubber latex. The topsheet has been dermatologically tested for skin contact.

What sizes are available?

Svelte is available in two sizes:
